Carson City -
Snow Valley Peak Located on the east
side of Lake Tahoe, Snow Valley Peak is accessed via the Tahoe Rim Trail, and overlooks the state capital as
well.
 Churchill
County - Desatoya Peak
Also know as the "Desatoya Twins" due to its double summit, this fine peak overlooks US Highway 50 in the Pony
Express country near Cold Springs.

Clark County
- Charleston Peak
Checking in as the 8th highest peak in the state, Charleston Peak overlooks Las Vegas, Lake Mead, and a huge swath
of southern Nevada.

Douglas County - East Peak
Another one of the 3 county high points overlooking crystal blue Lake Tahoe, this one towers above the town of
South Lake Tahoe and the casinos of Stateline.

Elko County - Ruby Dome
As the highest of the Ruby Mountains, Ruby Dome is the crown jewel among many 11,000' peaks, and overlooks the
towns of Spring Creek and Elko.

Esmeralda County - Boundary Peak
Boundary Peak is Nevada's highest mountain, and stands as the Nevada sentinel at the north end of the White
Mountains, near the town of Benton, California.

Eureka County - Diamond Peak
Looming above the "living ghost town" of Eureka, the views from Diamond Peak encompass an enormous amount of
central Nevada along US Highway 50.

Humboldt County
- Granite Peak
Standing alone as the northernmost county high point, Granite Peak overlooks Paradise Valley, the site of Indian
skirmishes in the days of yesteryear.

Lander County - Bunker Hill
Another big beautiful 11,000' beast, Bunker Hill is a highlight of the Toiyabe Range above the trout-fishing
destination of Kingston Canyon.

Lincoln County - South Ridge of Mount Grafton
One of the two Nevada county high points not on a summit, this cohp proffers splendid views of the Snake Range and
Great Basin National Park.

Lyon County - Northeast Ridge of Middle Sister The other non-summit cohp
within Nevada, this saunter in the sage & pinyon country rewards the hiker with amazing views of the
Sweetwater Mountains & the Sierra Nevada.

Mineral County
- Mount Grant
Towering some 7000' above Walker Lake and the town of Hawthorne, this 11K peak lies within the Hawthorne Army Depot
and is a special access situation.

Nye County
- Mount Jefferson
The 6th highest mountain in Nevada, Jefferson is centrally located and looms above the towns of Carvers and Hadley
in the Big Smoky Valley.

Pershing County - Star Peak
Overlooking the Rye Patch Reservoir between Winnemucca and Lovelock, Star Peak is easily accessible from Interstate
80.

Storey County -
Mount Davidson
Situated directly above the Historic District of Virginia City, Mount Davidson provides views of Reno, Carson
City, and the Tahoe Sierra.

Washoe County - Mount Rose
The 3rd Nevada cohp overlooking Lake Tahoe, Mount Rose provides awesome views, from Lassen Peak to
Boundary Peak and a gigantic segment of the Sierra Nevada.

Pine County - Wheeler Peak
Wheeler Peak is the 2nd highest mountain in Nevada, and the crown jewel of Great Basin National Park. An ancient
glacier lingers beneath its north face.
